Patrik Vojtisek
Kinesiology Manager
Patrik’s passion for movement, rehabilitation, and human potential stems from his own experiences overcoming multiple injuries and limiting conditions. Growing up immersed in traditional sports like basketball and tennis, he experienced firsthand the frustrations of recovery, the fear of setbacks, and the mental challenges of rebuilding strength and fitness. Determined to become the missing piece of the puzzle he once needed, he pursued Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences to help others break through barriers and move with confidence.
A firm believer in leading by example, Patrik prioritizes health, longevity, and well-being in his own life. He sees his role as an educator and coach, guiding clients toward long-term solutions rather than quick fixes. His approach extends beyond physical training—he helps clients overcome mental plateaus, build resilience, and address lifestyle habits that impact recovery and performance. Through honesty, authenticity, and empathy, he empowers individuals to break free from limiting patterns, take ownership of their health, and grow from within.
Patrik holds a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, specializing in clinical kinesiology and high-performance coaching. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), further reinforcing his expertise in performance training and rehabilitation. During his time at UBC, he worked as a Strength & Conditioning Student Assistant and Student Athletic Trainer with various teams, gaining diverse experience across athletic populations.
His approach is holistic, evidence-based, and client-centered, integrating biomechanics, exercise physiology, psychology, and social factors to create personalized interventions. He understands that underperformance, plateaus, and slow recovery are rarely just physical issues—they are deeply influenced by stress, mindset, sleep, nutrition, and daily movement habits. By addressing these psycho-social factors, Patrik helps clients unlock their full potential, build resilience, and optimize recovery through intelligent programming, lifestyle adjustments, and a growth-oriented mindset.
Outside of work, Patrik thrives on movement and adventure. His top three activities are climbing, weightlifting, and yoga, but he feels most at home in the mountains—embracing constant learning and self-exploration as he practices what he preaches.
