Women's Personal Training
Find your path to strength and confidence with training designed for women in Vancouver
What to Expect from a Women's Personal Trainer
Your First Session Experience
When you start out on whatever path to fitness you choose, make sure you find a trainer with an understanding of your unique needs. After 30 years working with women from all backgrounds, from budding athletes to retired and relaxed, we know that women want to be seen and truly understood from the first session.
It all starts with a consultation call, then you'll complete a brief intake form covering contact details, health history, and current fitness levels. This helps us create a program tailored specifically to your body and goals.
Once you’re ready, an initial assessment covers a fully founded chat on your fitness experiences, past injuries, and what you hope to achieve. We have women at every level of our organization, from owner, managers, to our kinesiologists who work with clients, discussing client files together as a team.
And all of our personal trainers listen carefully, asking thoughtful questions to fully understand your needs before taking objective measurements like range of motion, flexibility, and strength.
Something our female clients appreciate is our private setting, where you can train without feeling self-conscious or watched. With your baseline fitness measurements recorded, together we'll establish realistic goals that consider your schedule and lifestyle demands like working, caring, and providing that so many women juggle daily.
Building Your Custom Program
Whether you're looking to lose weight, build strength, improve posture, prepare for pregnancy, or recover postpartum, our women's personal trainers will create a program designed specifically for you. We understand women's bodies respond differently to various training styles, and we adapt accordingly.
Your program begins either during your assessment or in your second session. While we explain the exercises verbally in session, you will also get an email follow up of the workouts so you can stay on track at home. After a dozen or so sessions we’ll reassess to track progress and adjust your program as needed.
Why Choose a Female Kinesiologist as Your Personal Trainer
Kinesiologists bring scientific understanding to women's fitness that goes beyond standard personal training certifications. With a 4 year university degree focused on human movement, our kinesiologists understand the unique considerations of female physiology, and how this translates to everyday health.
Many women prefer working with trainers who understand their specific concerns around hormones, pregnancy, menopause, and women-specific surgery or injury prevention. Our kinesiologists combine their wide-ranging education with practical experience training women of all ages and fitness levels.
How a Women's Personal Trainer Supports Your Success
Motivation Tailored to Women's Needs
Women face unique demands and motivational challenges in life. Our personal trainers understand that motivation for women isn't always about pushing harder (although often it is)—sometimes it's about providing the right kind environment and support.
Research shows that women working with personal trainers achieve significantly better results than those intent on self-guided workouts. One study demonstrated that people with trainers saw greater improvements in body composition and strength compared to those following the same program without supervision.
Accountability That Works With Your Life
Between career demands, family responsibilities, and social obligations, women often put their fitness needs last. Your personal trainer provides the accountability needed to prioritize your health.
Studies show that clients with scheduled trainer appointments attend 80% more sessions than those attempting to exercise independently. Our women's personal trainers help you stay committed to your health goals despite busy schedules.
Proper Form for Women's Health
Women have different biomechanical considerations than men—from Q-angles in the knees to differences in core and pelvic floor strength. Our kinesiologists understand these differences and modify exercises accordingly.
Proper form is especially important for women to prevent injuries and address common issues like lower back pain, knee problems, and postural challenges from daily activities. Your trainer will ensure every movement supports long-term health.
Fresh, Engaging Workouts
No one enjoys repetitive routines! Our women's personal trainers keep your workouts interesting and effective by regularly introducing new exercises tailored to your goals. Whether you enjoy dance-inspired movements, strength training, or flexibility work, we create sessions you'll actually look forward to.
